Welcome the fight George Will. However belatedly.
Will was part of the cadre of elite pundits - going back to William Buckley - who for decades paved the way for an American ChristoFascist state. A direct line - and thin - line between Buckley, Will, David Brooks, et al and Limbaugh, Bannon, and Alex Jones. When it mattered to nip the despot in the bud, they were offended more by Trump's style than the substance of Project 2025. The best the current lot could do in 2016 was advise Republican voters to consider sitting on their hands - when holding their nose and voting for Democrats was essential. And in 2024, as in 2016 and 2020, they couldn't criticize Trump without trashing the Democratic candidates.
Now newly converted carpetbagger George Conway has moved to NYC and jumped into the Democratic primary to replace Gerry Nadler. With the slogan Vote For Me Because I Used To Be One Of Them. George go home. NYC has plenty of local Democratic talent.
