Chile is giving me perspective: in its ability to discuss history and in the never-ending struggle for democracy. Chile is now a democracy, having emerged from dictatorship. Looking for them for answers this week.

Travel broadens the mind. Through it we see and hopefully learn that 'Our Way' isn't the only way and sometimes not the best way.
How very refreshing to be in a country that never gave up fighting for its democracy. I say that with great admiration, but also with envy and wishful thinking. I hope one day we will be described similarly.
