I posted this last night. And this morning $4 a gallon is indeed the lead story.
I have no doubt that the young fellow in this picture was very possibly one of the first arrivals for the No Kings on Saturday in his town. But in 2024, when it mattered, no sacrifice was worth making for an abstraction like . . . civil society.
The terror of inflation, war and recession however, has gotten many off of their barcaloungers.
Our mistake was in misunderstanding the politics of the “swing” voter.
Let us resolve never to again.

$5.50/regular and $6.50/diesel per gallon here in WA. So many MagaMaroons here driving sad faced in their huge trucks. They have to be feeling the pinch. Of course I take full advantage of this by taking Sunday schadenfreude drives in my tiny, fuel efficient little car as I cruise by them while laughing at the wheel like Robert Deniro in Cape Fear.
