HaHa! Yes! ThankYou SB : )

If you are in NY (and even if you are not) please contact Chuck Schumer and tell him to stop meddling in the Maine Democratic Senate Primary Race. He will do anything to obstruct the government reform, party reform, and generational change Mainers want and we all need.

Washington D.C.

When Democratic candidate Graham Platner started turning out huge crowds at town halls, Schumer twisted Gov.Janet Mills' arm to get in the race. Opposition research did not dim Mainers' support for Platner and now - even with despicable push polls (I got one) - legitimate polling shows Platner besting both Mills and Susan Collins by double digits. While Platner continues to meet with us throughout Maine, Schumer has Mills making the rounds with lobbyists in DC.

Thanks, Steve. My concern is that our esteemed Attorney General is sitting in her office, shoving these documents through an industrial shredder to protect the Orange Ogre. Only time will tell.

Parents Describe a Clampdown at Dilley Detention Center as Kids Shared Their Stories — ProPublica

Guards have taken away crayons, colored pencils and drawing paper during recent room searches at Dilley, according to Hinojosa and three other former detainees, along with lawyers and advocates in contact with the families inside.

Guards have taken artwork, too, they said — even one child’s drawing of Bratz fashion dolls.

Trying not to get my hopes up too high, though I couldn't help but find this encouraging:

"This is the problem with coverups. It happened during Watergate, when employees of the White House and Nixon’s reelection committee were so numerous that they couldn’t all get together and strategize a way to keep their stories straight, so information began to leak out piecemeal. But when it was put together, the information began to point to specific crimes by specific individuals."

May the victims get the recognition that was denied them at the SOTU address, and finally be given the peace they need and deserve to heal.
