Mahmoud Khalil is languishing tonight in detention. He has done nothing wrong, except to exercise his right to free speech. When you can be arrested for that fundamental right the wheels have come off our democracy. Even if we are not surprised, we ought to be shocked. And even though we may feel like remaining silent, we must do the exact opposite. In your comments below, please share any links to demonstrations and other protest actions. I will do the same here.
