This is so critical and so long-past-due. Especially in New York, where I live in a rare regulated apartment. Units legally under stabilization and control have already disappeared by the hundreds of thousands and are being sold or leased at market rents. There is no enforcement of existing laws and no transparency about the nature/history of existing units. These are the problems that have killed the housing stock, though this law will go a long way toward emptying existing units without fair cause. We need it badly. Once again, Thank you, Steve!!!
