Special Valentines Message
Feelin' the Love
To my friends here on Substack, a note of gratitude for all the feedback and support over these 6 (6!) years. This project began during the pandemic, documenting the lives of those lost to disease and disinformation. Later, the police attacks on Black Americans, presaging a more grotesque version of a B America that A America is responsible for in its neglect of our permanent historical truth. Then Ukraine, Oct 7, Gaza, and the Trump II debacle. And still this project thrives, stating every day that the graphic arts have a voice in the public debate.
This only happens because of you and your sharing this understanding with me and my colleagues. As we lose the Post, CBS, others sources and as Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are arrested, we must all work together to hold tight to press freedom and support the many still uncompromised places where news is reported. Many people have told me that this publication is a place they have gotten breaking news. So grateful to be place for all this.
This week I will be devoting time to the Detention (Concentration) Camps we are spending billions on and where thousands are now languishing and dying.
And, of course, never forgetting our Sundays (which can occasionally be funny.) This week’s Sunday post will be starring, once again, the always astonishing Buggy Kennedy Jr.
Below is last week’s: Improved Super Bowl Ads.
Please consider an upgrade here.
Very gratefully,
Steve
More soon,
SB

Love you, Steve!
Thank you, and keep on your good work!
