Tomorrow we will be remembering the Trial of the Century and the 100-year journey toward greater and lesser freedom of speech.
We start with William Jennings Bryan, American (virtual) socialist at the buckle of the Bible Belt. And then on through to the present time.
Thanks for your steadfast support for The Greater Quiet. Keeps my pen unquiet.
Your help helped create this, this week.
More soon.
Steve
Thanks for this beautiful reminder of two great legal minds. With all of the chatter about AI replacing automated tasks and bringing people back to life after they’ve passed, I wonder if we will be able to resurrect these great men to argue important issues when we need them?
Don’t know how you do it, Steve, but each post gets better and better! Thanks for your commitment to the truth.
