Thank you
For your help this week
This week has whipsawed all of us. The hope that we in the Resistance feel each day is experienced in an environment of violence against children, the law, the very idea of being humane and human.
This work, a space shot from the vanished planet of print media, stays nourished, and, amazingly, healthier and stronger than ever . . . because of your support. Never, when I was a regular at The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Esquire etc., did this work have the same impact. Together we make this happen, here and in The Nation. And I believe, combined with our regular links to activism, is another thing that enables us to move forward into a new chapter of truth and reconciliation. While the news is hard to read, we get through it together, which is something for which this graphic newsletter is extremely grateful.
Thank you.
Here’s this week:
For Sunday: Melania’s Diary for a (cheap) paid sub.

My favourite? The Orange choking on the Strait. Excellent trompe l'oeil!
Thank you, Steve, for all you do to help us through these times.
