Hotel boycotts are tough. I say that from 50 years on the meeting side of hospitality. Yes, clients with which I worked carefully monitored actions and policies and did their best to avoid booking some brands or ownership because they were not in sync with the group. For casual and even many biz travelers, the name on the door may not reflect the brand which is, in the MN case, or the owner. My former (retd 12/2024) industry pushes back heavily on boycotts. That said: check before you reserve to learn under what brand the hotel operates and who owns the hotel itself. Then too check the owners’ record of political support. This is a time to do all we can. Thanks to the Steves.
