An Ohio native, long moved away, it used to be a reliable old-school GOP state. That said, the only GOP candidate my parents, and I once of voting age, voted for was the now late Chuck Whalen, one the US House Rep from Dayton. He switched parties after leaving office as the tide began to turn. This vote gave me hope. Or maybe it’s that cousins moved back and are helping change the pattern.
Hooray for the NO vote in OHIO! If Dems keep up the energy and efforts they displayed to get NO passed -- anything is possible!
