These two women showed more courage by speaking up than all of trump’s WH staff. They give me hope.

Such moving portraits of two American Heroes, Steve. Their testimony had me in tears. When the session ended, I loved how everyone on Jan. 6 committee lined up to give them hugs. I was right there with them in spirit. Thank you for lifting up Shaye Moss and Lady Ruby.

Thank you Steve for the picture and the words. Shaye's testimony, and that of her mother, were some of the most riveting and important of the hearings. They stood for the regular people that most of us are, who have been upended by Trump, the Republican Party and Fox News. Trump et.al. has unleashed hatred, which we knew existed, and has aloud it to bubble up to the surface, like the earthquake that hit Afghanistan last night. It feels like the scene in IRobot, where all hell has broken loose, and the robots are fighting and killing, until robot brain is destroyed, and all return to some semblance of normal. I've been waking up everyday for the past 5+ years waiting for that to happen. Somehow, these two women give me some hope. I thank the J6 committee for bringing them to our attention.

I despise what the MAGA-lytes have done to this country. Ignorance and cruelty are celebrated. We need to be cleansed of this deliberate malice. It starts with education. People who can think and reason would not be this vile, or so easily led by these self-serving carpetbaggers.
