I am not wetting beds, chairs or my BVDs. I know Trump has ominous amounts of MuskPutiMobMoney. But I also know they are selling an awful product which, in the last week of the campaign, is smelling worse than ever . . . at just the moment when the sub-zero-information-voters are tuning in, because, well, that’s what they do.
So here are reasons for rational optimism: Harris has a massive ground game (meaning volunteers in swing states getting out the vote) and Trump is more reliant on media. Harris is ever broadening her message, while Trump is narrowing his, as if the hotter the hate speech, the more voters will somehow creep out from the volcanic lower depths of the earth.
Rachel Bitecofer and David Plouffe have been pointing that way all week. Also Ms. Harris herself in the Ellipse speech, bore this out, I think as well.

Bravery defines an act you have no choice but to do.
Going to work early elections again today in red SW Michigan. Tuesday worked 9 hours with one 15 break to grab lunch and a couple times I ran to the bathroom. Yesterday it was 10 hours with two races to the bathroom and no other breaks. People are voting in record numbers.
I hope this is a good sign. Let’s see what today brings.
