There is nothing clever to say about the unwarranted death these and more as yet noted women sentenced to an untimely death by men who have no idea whatsoever about women's health problems and needs.
Thank you for this powerful art. These are only the deaths we know about. Women's lives are sacrificed to fulfill the needs of those who pretend they are moral, god-fearing, and "pro-life".
It’s always been that way. I worked with NARAL & PPFA pre and post Roe. In hs in the early ‘60s, friends had illegal abortions. Pre-Roe, I, wanting no children, and tired of birth control pills, went through hell to get a tubal ligation. I’m watching the states as closely as the Federal elections. We must prevail.
Where are the doctors brave enough to ignore the bans and deliver the needed care to women who are suffering, as they took an oath to do? Sure, they'll be arrested, but they would become national heroes, and surely other doctors would follow their lead.
Maybe one way around this terrible situation would be for doctors to to help their patients as they were trained to do, but before doing so, have their patient sign, a nondisclosure agreement as a nod to the poignant, political motto, “don’t ask, don’t tell.”
I just don’t get it that there is so little reporting on how the abortion bans impact men.
Not only are the women harmed daughters, wives, sisters and friends, but none of the women got pregnant without a man, so the men have a part in this. Also, if a baby is born the father will have to pay child support for eighteen years.
There is an effort to divide the citizens, gender is one more way.

Murder is the only appropriate word.

There still are some. Some in their 80s because younger docs are afraid & I don’t blame them.

And in many cases they are left caring for children.
