~ For years I've had a photo of you on my bulletin board teaching a class. The words of wisdom on the board behind you start with "DRAW EVERYDAY". Every word of it is inspiring, especially when I'm bogged down with a bland assignment, a difficult client, or having a hard time getting started. My favorites are "KNOW YOURSELF" and "BEAUTIFUL, COMPELLING FINAL, EVERY INCH DONE WITH EQUAL CARE". Your words validate my love of both Beauty in art* and the detail I cannot help but bring to it.

* My long-ago profs at RISD insisted that my desire to create Beauty in my art, Beauty AS art, was dead, a waste of time, not a valid goal. I ignored them, thankfully. I know myself! [These ejits were FAMOUS illustrators!]
TFG just thinks he wants to be jailed. Firstly he doesn't think that Judge Merchan has the guts to jail a POTUS. Secondly, he thinks being jailed will make him more popular with his base, and he might be right about 25% of his base, thise most rabid. I am hoping the judge does have the fortitude to do the right thing and throw that fat a$$ in jail. IMO more people will turn away from him than will be attracted to a jailbird.
You deserve the Herblock award! It’s even overdue. I keep saying you are like Daumier, but you’re really your unique self. However. I am praying for the day when you don’t have such rich raw material.
The jurors need witness protection status.
