A stirring call to arms
Today’s modest proposal by Steve Schmidt (subscribe below) is the right idea at the right time. The need to fight back with all the tools Democrats actually have will block the desecration of the US government and shut the whole thing down, if necessary. It will also set the tone for the next four years. If you can’t stand up to a bully, get lost. We need people who will, and make him cry.

That's right! Tommy Tuberville put a hold on multiple judgeship nominations. One person!! The Democrats should absolutely do that. Stymie the development of this oligarch cabinet for as long as humanly possible so Trump may be forced to seek people with actual experience. They can be loyalists to some degree, but they must also have experience and an understanding of how the bureaucracy works. Gosh I hope somebody remembers Tuberville's maneuver and stops the noms NOW.
Do you think Schumer et al are reading this? It feels like they are just accepting all of these nominees as inevitabilities and assume that the American people will notice when the Trump administration is a complete failure. Then the Dems can pat themselves on the back for making some noise during the confirmation hearings and say "told ya so".
