2022 Personal Responsibility Act
1. All males will be required to register a DNA sample with the state and/or federal government at age 12. This sample with be held in a secure location with appropriate privacy protocols until twenty years after the death of the individual.
2. Paternity for every embryo shall be established, if not during pregnancy, immediately after birth.
3. Upon any birth wherein a male partner is not present or involved in the baby’s life in a substantial, financial way, the DNA sample will be used to determine the parentage of the baby.
4. The male responsible for the pregnancy will be obliged by law to support, in equal share, the woman’s costs for pregnancy, including medical care, nutrition, and expenses involving leave from work from the time of conception to a period of six months after the birth of the baby.
5. The male responsible for the pregnancy will be obliged by law to support, in equal share, the costs of raising a child, including but not limited to medical costs, insurance, nutrition and housing, other living costs, and education through the child’s age of majority.
6. The child will have a share equal to other children of the father’s estate when the father dies.
7. This law will have no exceptions for rape, incest, age or mental capacity of the male parent.
