A truly courageous activist who knew the threats she was facing. We have a lot to learn about sacrifice if we're going to save this country, and we don't have much time. The fanatic nihilsts on the other side believe they understand this, but they don't. Confronted with ownership of their actions, they disown them, cry like the developmental children they are (Kavanaugh, Rittenhouse, et al.), and complain about unfair treatment (Trump on down). It is the opposite of non-violent resistence and struggle. Get in the fight, and be accountable, like Javiera—an inspiration to all of us. May she rest in power.

So so sad. I hope that Javiera Rojas will long be remembered for helping to save her community and the wildlife and that the dam will never be built.
