I have share your take on Ann cartoon and her on the social media platforms I use. Thank you for continuing her vision. I agree completely and am saddened by it's meaning for the press, dissemination of information and our democracy.
Thank you, Steve. Clay Jones (Claytoonz) did too in words and art agree and highlight Ann. A DC resident, as I also wrote to Clay’s Substack, I’ve felt safe here. Blue newspaper for a population that votes 90+% for the Blue Pres candidate. The Post has changed too much. DC is changing - all these MAGA affiliated people are moving in tho I bet they’ll endure the schlep from Virginia v being more surrounded here by us. Morally I want to support many more Substacks; at almost 80 & hoping to finally retire (for health & missing the same passion I had for my work) I can’t financially. I will promote all to others. We are together in this Resistance. You are one of the stalwart leaders for which I thank you.
The media oligarchs are paying Trump precisely because they know that the Constitution will be suspended when he takes office. Really, even the protection payoffs won't protect them.

I canceled my WAPO subscription and subscribed to Ann’s Substack.

This is so disturbing and such a scary action against our first amendment. I support Ann and other cartoonists whose integrity is beyond reproach.
I plan to repost Ann’s work every day on FB, Instagram, and Blue sky. Imagine the increase in her audience reach if we all did that.
